Sweet and Salty Kheere ka Raita / Cucumber Raita

Hello everyone.Its very hot here.Temperature is increasing day by day.This season of may and june are very hot here.So today I am going to share a very cool cool quick and easy recipe to beat the heat. It is advised to consume curd and fruits in order to fight with scorching summer.I prepared this easy raiyta which is very healthy and cool. You can prepare and serve it anytime just using 5 ingredients.Its very basic recipe.It can be served as sweet dish by increasing the amount of sugar and it really tastes yummy.It tastes best when serve chilled. Here goes the recipe:  

Ingredients:


  • Cucumber/ Kheera 250gms. peeled and grated
  • Curd / Dahi 4-5 tbspn
  • Sugar / Cheeni 4 tbspn
  • Cumin Powder/ Jeera Powder 2 tspn
  • Black Salt / Kala Namak 2 tspn


Method:


  • First of all , squeeze grated cucumber in bowl. Don't squeeze too much .You can use the squeezed water for other purpose.
  • Now take curd and sugar in a bowl and mix it well.There should not be any lumps.
  • Then add cucumber, cumin powder and black salt in the curd and mix it well.
  • Place this raiyta in fridge for half an hour.
  • Now your cool cool cucumber raiyta is ready to be served.
  • Sprinkle some cumin powder before serving.
