Mango Ice Cream

Hello beautiful Homemakers, today I am going to share a very easy receipe of Mango Ice-cream with the use of very few ingredients. Hope you will try this out and let me know how it came out. Here goes the recipe:

Ingredients:


1.Heavy whipping cream ( I have used homemade cream)- 250gms

2.Mangoes -3 ( Mangoo Puree can also be used)
3.1.5 tsp vanilla powder or ½ tsp vanilla extract
4. ½ -1 cup sugar (Quantity may differ depending upon sweetness required)
5.Cardamom powder-1/4 tea spoon (Optional)
6.Saffron-2-3 strands (Optional)
7.honey or any sweet syrup to top over the ice cream (optional)

Method:


1.Peel and chop the mangoes.

2. Blend the mangoes, vanilla extract and sugar to a smooth pulp.
3. Whip the cream till soft peaks are formed.
4.Add the mango pulp. fold or mix well.
5.Check the sweetness and add more sugar if required.
6.Pour in a tray or container and place in the freezer and cover the container.
7.When the ice cream is half frozen remove from the freezer and
whip again for a minute. 
8.Pour the ice cream contents again in the container with lid. Repeat this procedure for atleast 2 times for smoother icecream. freeze till set.
9.Now the yummy Mango Ice cream is ready to be served .Scoop the mango ice cream and serve with honey or just plain.

Notes:

1. Instead of whipping the cream separately, you can also just whip the cream in a blender with the mango puree till soft peaks are formed.

2. Whip the cream really well for softer texture.You can also whip the cream in a blender or a hand blender.
